Navy Pier Reviews
When you steal somebody else's life, what happens when you have to give it back?

Two writers and the women they love discover what it is to lose themselves in each other. - A tale of betrayal, regret and air hockey
Some years ago, Kurt, Martin and Iris studied together at university in Chicago. Kurt and Martin were close friends and eager competitors in all aspects of their lives. Both were struggling authors until Kurt got his big break with the publication of a short story, “Isaac Greets the New Day” as the winner of a New Yorker Magazine competition. Since then he has published several stories and a novel. As the play opens Kurt is on a book tour in New York. Martin is still struggling to write and is on the opposite side of the country in San Francisco. Iris is an artist and has begun to build some reputation for her paintings, just now she is back in Chicago. The fourth member of the quartet is Olivia – but everyone just calls her Liv - she is a historian, but just at this moment she is in a bar in New York.
Athough the four are far apart geographically they are bound together by their shared history of creative passion, ambition, love and betrayal. So when a crisis occurs for one of them, the four are gathered together in imagination, to search their lives for the truth, to face their guilts, and to struggle to redeem past injuries.
